“BETTER TOGETHER, LOVE.” This mural is a collaboration with @davidpuckartist featuring the lovely ladies from @27travels who were so kind as to model for this shot / mural. David does portraits and always uses real people, and does a lot of queer / mental health themed work and we had been talking on IG about doing a collab, and finally we were able to bring it to life! David took some photos of @27travels and we figured out how to merge our styles and make this happen, and I am so pleased with it! This piece is special to me because my youngest sister (RIP she is no longer with us) was queer and she would have LOVED this, so I think I was (not so low key) doing this for her. I am always happy to do work that supports the LGBTQ+ community and this piece is all about love, positivity and inclusivity, and after all, we are better together! In David’s words, “This mural is a celebration of unashamed visible queer love, and a message of acceptance, connection and compassion for all.” And I am so grateful that David and I were able to bring this TOGETHER and of course, with huge thanks to @27travels.
