I’m so thankful for the last 10 days I’ve had in Miami, painting, spending time with so many wonderful friends, meeting new people, and immersing myself in this culture I love so much… Miami has been so good to me, and the community of artists that flock there during Basel is my family - I’m honored to a part of it. Sometimes it doesn’t feel real that this is my life. When I quit my job years ago to be an artist, I didn’t know what it meant, and now I live every day like its a dream… because it really is my dream.
