It’s that lovely time of year to start thinking about the future, resolutions, plans, goals. Even if you’re the type of person who doesn’t believe in New Years resolutions, it’s still on your mind. As an artist, I am always trying to grow and evolve. I want to improve my skills and my practice. I want to grow my social media presence, BUT stay true to my heart and make work for me, not to please the numbers. You all know what I’m talking about... So I am thinking about how to evolve my work and what changes I can make stylistically while still maintaining my voice and tone. One thing I don’t do a lot of is dimension. So here I am, thinking about the future, and adding dimension to my work, and wondering how much I like it. Does it feel like other artists too much? Does it throw back to the seventies too much? Does it feel like me...??? ——- Who feels me on this struggle, cuz it is REAL 😂💙💜💚
