This holiday season feels confusing because it it seems like I am not doing any of the things I normally do around this time. I think part of it has been that I have been so busy, (thankfully!) but also because of the circumstances. It makes me think about tradition and family, and why we do things the way we do them. It may be a bummer that I am not traveling to see family and that eggnog just doesn’t taste the same when you drink it alone, but the silver lining is this - we all have the opportunity to do things our own way! You know, start a new tradition, do something you’ve never done before this holiday? Maybe you never like Christmas music, so this December, you are exclusively listening to The Beach Boys. LOL. All I’m saying is, you don’t have to do things the “way they’ve always been done.” Do them YOUR WAY!!!
