💛🖤YOU ARE NOT ALONE - South St Seaport! It is Mental Health Awareness month, and I’m so excited to show off my second mural to support this initiative, and help raise awareness. The point of this project is serve as a reminder to everyone that mental health issues affect all of us in one way or another, and whether you’re struggling with mental health, or just feel misunderstood or anxious, you really are not alone. And if this mural serves as a sufficient reminder, then that’s amazing! But I’ve also put a link to the NAMI NYC helpline in my bio, and if you or anyone you know is struggling, please go the link, or DM me and I will guide you. I am thrilled to have been able to connect with @naminyc_metro to better guide you if you need my help. — This mural and project is very special to me as I lost my youngest sister to her own lifelong battle for her mental health, which she ultimately lost. In her absence I’ve ignited a passion to use my talents to help. This project really calls to me, and I”m thankful to have been invited to participate so much on this… —- The project is conceived of and curated by designer, illustrator, and mural painter Annica Lydenberg (@dirtybandits) and @sam_schutz, mental health advocate and critically-acclaimed author of the anxiety disorder memoir, #IDontWantToBeCrazy. —— 🎨If you are an artist and want to get involved and use your talents to help, please go to @YOUARENOTALONEMURALS or https://ift.tt/3ftNNjI or DM ME!!! - this wall was painted with love and @montanacans 💛🖤 —- #youarenotalone #youarenotaloneart #youarenotalonemurals #GoodtypeYouAreNotAlone
