For those who are new here, hi! I’m Jason. I am an artist based in Brooklyn, New York. I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, but I’ve been in NY for about 15 years. I love bright colors and good vibes and ice cream. Lately I’ve been loving fluorescent yellow and of course, the 90s. In this photo, I am sitting with a character I’ve created called OPN Heart. I am planning to a lot more in 2020 with him, and looking forward to collaborating with some of YOU! Tell me about you... ——— 📸: @jeffdwegner Art by Jason Naylor

1100 square feet flooded with nothing but love and color. When I started this mural in Wynwood, the building owner said, “use a decent amount of green” and I knew I was going to put an OPN HEART on it. The rest I left up to my instincts. I just gathered all the colors from my palette, took a deep breath and started painting. No plan, no sketch. Just me and the spray cans. I’m an super proud of this, I freestyled the whole thing! There were moments of standing there wondering what to do next... but there were more moments of flying through colors and just trusting my gut. Somewhere, somehow, my subconscious knew what to do! ——— Thanks to @galeracollective and @wynwoodmuralfest for the building! This is located on NE 24th st. Next to the @thewynwoodfactory Miami. – Charlie Chaplin 🌩🌈🌧 I love this quote. To me, this talking about attitude, which is an extremely powerful thing. A lot of the feelings we have about our experiences are based on attitude, and if it’s a good one, it will be a good experience. Like, if we are always looking on the bright side of things, things will be bright! If we just look up when things are down, there might just be a rainbow! If we are having an attitude of gratitude, we will legit feel happy and content. It’s super dreary and rainy in NY rn, but there are still things to “chin up” about... I’ll name a few... IT’S FRIDAY!! I have ice cream in the freezer! I am healthy! .... What else is good in life today? YOUR life... ? 🌈 Art by Jason Naylor

Friends are such an important part of life. They complete us in these important little ways like filling in cracks in our personalities and making us better. Friends the ones who understand our weaknesses and celebrate our strengths. We can complain or brag to real friend without judgement right?! I am thankful for good friends I have that fill that role for me, I hope to do the same for them :). Now, on a different note, I’ve been watching @friends on @netflix and hearing that’s going to leave or something. Is this true? Does anyone know? I’ve grown so close to them all haha. Maybe Ross is my favorite, cuz he’s so temperamental, but I relate to Monica a little. Which FRIEND are you? Art by Jason Naylor

ITS ALL GUCCI BABY... I’ve always been a pretty optimistic person, I can find the silver lining in a mud puddle. And I just love this phrase, it’s so extra, but so spot on... even you are stuck in a mud puddle, saying this has got to make you smirk LOL. 💚🐯 Art by Jason Naylor

You will NEVER regret being kind. Seriously. It is not always the easy road, sometimes it can be difficult. It is not always the gut reaction, sometimes anger or nastiness want to erupt. It is not always the first option that presents itself in our hearts. But it IS ALWAYS the route that leads to feeling good about who we are.✨ Take the high road. Kindness wins. Get into it!!! 🤘🏻💜💜💜🤍 Art by Jason Naylor

One of the greatest powers in the world is kindness. Treating people with kindness takes you so far, and can change so much, from making someone’s day all the way to changing the world. If we all practice a little more kindness, we truly can impact our friends, our peers, our communities and ourselves. And it is really not difficult at all - seriously a smile can change everything! Kindness DOES matter. So get into it! Happy World Kindness Day ✨ ——- Painted with kindness and @montanacans, in downtown LA. 🖤 Art by Jason Naylor

LOVE!!! Made on @adobe FRESCO!!! It was an honor to participate in a focus group for FRESCO, I made this using Photoshop and Fresco, and went back and forth using Cloud Docs, which was AMAZING!!! I had a bit of a learning curve with Fresco and there are a few features I think it needs, but overall it was pretty good. I was able to give my feedback to Adobe and I can’t wait to see where this evolves to! Is anyone else using it? What about the new Photoshop on iPad? What do you guys think? Art by Jason Naylor

Finished mural at the new @bareburgernyc in Morristown NJ! I finished this a few weeks ago but I have been waiting for the restaurant to be all styled out :). This was such a fun wall and great clients. The only thing is that the kitchen wasn’t up and running while I painted (probably a good thing) so I haven’t tried the burger yet!!! NJ homies go check it out and have a burger for me!!! 🧡💛💙🖤🍔🍔🍔✨🤘🏻 Art by Jason Naylor

OPN HEART BEAR!!! My pseudo collab with @carebears. OPN HEART bear is sensitive loving and generous. He always has an open mind and an open heart, and wants to grow. He loves to share with others and is a loyal friend, but he can be a smidge of an introvert... If there was a plush bear like this would you buy it? 🐻💖💜💙🖤 Art by Jason Naylor
