The Christmas Tree of Life: do we get caught up spending too much of our time, effort, and energy on one area of life? Did all of our hard earned money and the last of our pretty pink wrapping paper get spent on making our INSTAGIFT the perfect gift? Do we neglect the other gifts because we only care about social media? It’s easy to get caught up in the frantic festive frenzy of social media, and forget about our other priorities in life. But balance is so crucial, and just as this tree looks silly with one pretentiously pink present sitting beneath it, towering above the other boring boxes, our lives would be silly if all we did was focus on social media. Our pretty wrapping paper could be spread out and used to beautify ALL of our gifts. Our precious time and energy can be balanced and dedicated to ALL the important things in our lives. Our love and affection can be spread to ALL the people in our lives. So remember on this Christmas to celebrate ALL the people and things that enrich your life!
