In response to @jamesllewis call to post about how lettering and typography create a unity among designers and bring us together, I thought I’d take my stab at the word and share my own thoughts... • I have always found it impressive that in the lettering community, there’s is never a feeling of competitiveness or envy, rather an uplifting sense of support and excitement for other work. Many artists and designers share their work which gets reposted and shared and spread around the community for the inspiration and benefit of others! And we all learn and grow together! • Because of lettering, I have had some amazing opportunities present themselves in NYC and beyond, and I’ve made some new friend both on IG and IRL! And I feel so honored to be part of a group of talented, motivating, inspiring artists and designer. We rely on each other, and together we make the unity become magic. I want to extend a hand to a few of my faves and thank them for inspiring, for creating, and for sharing.
