I made this sketch for a potential client who was looking for a beer mural. I actually did 3 different sketches, but this one was my favorite. I put some love into it, getting the mix of typefaces to work the way I wanted. I was excited and thought for sure the client would love it... • This was 2 months ago. I never heard back. No reply to the email, no “thank you, it’s beautiful!” Nothing. This is one of the challenges of being a creative type. When you make a piece of art, you put some of yourself into it, and so when it’s dismissed, rejected, or just never gets another phone call... it stings a little. 🐝 • So CHEERS to you, client who doesn’t want my pretty mural...
