One of the highlights of HOW DESIGN LIVE was hearing @elizabeth_gilbert_writer speak. The big takeaway for me was this- true creativity happens when you are relaxed. And this hit me hard because I never relax. I just plow on to the next thing at a million miles a minute. So I took some time when I woke up today... no phone, no email... to relax, and think about her words and how I could best portray them in a design.
