Do u get it? π₯° A lot of people have been asking me how I found or developed my style. The honest answer, is that in order to find it, you just have to keep creating. You can’t design a style or invent one deliberately. You can’t look at other work and pluck bits and pieces from several artists and mash them together to make your own. You just have to put your head down, forget what every one else is doing... and create. Over and over and over again. And before long, you’ll begin to see systems and patterns in your work. You’ll realize that you w developed a vocabulary of colors or pen strokes or shapes that you keep repeating. And all of a sudden, you’ll realize you have a sense of what your style is. You’ll look back and realize that your style only decided to appear after you created so many things that it was unable to hide any more... So stay in your lane. Forget everything. Pick up your pencil. And draw. ✏️ππ EVERY. DAMN. DAY. ππππ€ Art by Jason Naylor
