Everyone always asks me, “what’s with all the hearts?” 💛🖤💖 The answer is, I have always liked the shape of the heart - about 10 years ago I did an exploration and designed 150 different hearts... all in black. 🖤 Now what I love about the heart is that it’s the perfect icon and motif to represent the messages that I like to infuse in my work. Love. Kindness. Joy. Positivity. These are all summarized so easily with a colorful heart! And lastly, I love seeing a heart sprayed onto a brick wall. I think it’s such a nice juxtaposition of an iconic symbol and an edgy substrate.#l What do YOU think? Do you love the heart shape?
